PRODUCT 02 · MCocv1OPERATIONAL DATA CONTINUITY

Know What Happens to Your Data When Connectivity Disappears.

MetaCrust helps organizations operating in remote, harsh, and low-connectivity environments detect data interruptions, preserve data that reaches the gateway, recover buffered data when connectivity returns, and understand what happened along the way.

When Connectivity Fails, Data Shouldn’t Become a Mystery

Traditional monitoring can tell you that data is missing. MetaCrust is designed to help answer the questions that come next:

  1. Q.01When did the interruption begin?
  2. Q.02How long did it last?
  3. Q.03Was the source device still producing data?
  4. Q.04Where was the likely failure point?
  5. Q.05What data reached the gateway and was preserved?
  6. Q.06What was recovered when connectivity returned?

MetaCrust turns communication interruptions into measurable, explainable operational events.

How MetaCrust Works

01
CONNECT
Connect sensors, meters, controllers, equipment and other field devices using industrial and IoT interfaces.

  1. 1
Sensor InputsConnects to existing industrial sensors, controllers, and equipment through RS-485, RS-232, Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, and other supported interfaces.
  2. 2
Edge GatewayMonitors incoming data and connectivity, detects interruptions and anomalies, and buffers data locally during upstream outages.
  3. 3
UplinkForwards data to upstream systems over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular networks, with configurable failover.
  4. ↺
When the Link DropsData received by the gateway is buffered locally and automatically forwarded when connectivity returns.

One Gateway. Multiple Layers of Visibility.

01

Device & Data Monitoring

Monitor device status, live readings, operational metrics, historical trends, and data availability.

02

Anomaly Detection

Detect silent devices, abnormal readings, unexpected data patterns, communication failures, and reporting irregularities.

03

Store-and-Forward Recovery

Buffer gateway-received data during upstream outages and automatically replay it when connectivity returns.

04

Connectivity Management

Monitor Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and cellular connectivity, with configurable priorities and automatic failover.

05

Incident Intelligence

Correlate device, gateway, network, and destination events to identify likely failure causes and explain interruptions.

06

Continuity Evidence

Quantify interruption duration, buffered and recovered data, recovery completeness, and unrecovered data.

Real screens from the MetaCrust Edge Gateway. No separate server is needed to see what your data is doing.

01 · LIVE MONITORING

Every sensor, live, with the history behind it.

Per-device readings with health status, zoomable trends from one hour to thirty days, rolling statistics and CSV export, all served from the gateway itself.

02 · ANOMALY DETECTION

Flags problems and explains them in plain language.

The engine watches for limit crossings, sudden spikes, runaway trends, unusual behaviour, silent signals and invalid readings. Each flag says what happened and what could be wrong.

03 · STORE-AND-FORWARD RECOVERY

Connection drops. Data waits. Then it's delivered.

When the destination is unreachable, messages are held in a local buffer that survives restarts. When the link returns they are replayed automatically, and every one is counted.

○ CONNECTION DOWN
Data forwarding while the server is unreachable: 29,672 messages saved locally, waiting for delivery
● RECOVERED
Data forwarding after reconnection: 1,693 messages recovered and sent with a 100% recovery rate
04 · CONNECTIVITY MANAGEMENT

Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular, with failover you can see.

Track the active uplink, standby links, down events and total downtime per interface, and set the priority order for failover.

IMPORTANT DATA BOUNDARY

MetaCrust can preserve and account for data that successfully reaches the gateway. Data that never reaches the gateway because of an upstream device or acquisition failure cannot be recovered by the gateway.

Don’t Just Know That Data Is Missing. Know What Happened to It.

Bring greater visibility, continuity and recovery to connected operations in environments where connectivity cannot always be guaranteed.
